What’s Aldara HPV Cream 5% Imiquimod? 

Aldara is a medication that help stimulate the immune system. It is used on patients who had intense sun exposure (actinic keratosis) on the scalp and face. 

Aldara Cream is used to treat minor form of skin cancer called superficial basal cell carcinoma, when surgery is not an appropriate treatment. 

Aldara also treats genital warts that appear on the outside of the body. Imiquimod may be used in adults and children who are at least 12 years.

How To Use Aldara Cream? 

Follow your doctor's prescription. 

Wash your hands and gently clean the area you will be applying the cream on. Wait for about 15 minutes for the area of treatment to dry naturally. Apply the cream on dry skin. Wash your hands with soap after using the cream. For optimal results, use surgical gloves so only the treated area absorbs the cream. If the skin is wounded, burned or broken, wait until the conditions heal before using Aldara.

Aldara Cream can be used twice a week for a period of 16 weeks.
